My First Born is going to Kindergarten

It's hard to believe that my Eoin is starting Kindergarten. In a little over a week he will start. For the last 2 years he has been in preschool, but for some reason this feels different. Over the last few days he has had his first eye exam and his school physical. Yesterday was his eye exam. He worried me, because he kept saying that he wanted glasses and I was afraid that he would fib to the doctor. His very close friend Sebastian wears glasses and he wants to be like him. He actually did really well. He has 20 20 vision.

Today was his physical. He is growing really well the Doc says he is 75% for height and weight. He also need three shots. I took Liam to the car because he was getting tired and Eoin stayed with Walt. When he got the first shot Walt told me he cried and called for me. In order for him to get the other two shots 3 people had to restrain him. He is really strong!

I really hope and pray everyday that my boys like school and do well. I was not the best student. I didn't get good grades and really didn't care about school. To bad a can't get a do over in life, I would have tried harder in school. I know that I will tell my children often how important a good education is. And hopefully they will make good choices. Eoin already is excited to start kindergarten and I hope he remains enthusiastic.
