Wisconsin Dells Vacation

For the first time in 2 years we took a little vacation. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge for 3 days. This resort is wonderful. The first morning we were there we went to the hotel lobby and did Wolf walk(a tour guide talks to the kids about the stuffed animals in the lobby), we made origami wolves, and went on the Wisconsin Duck tour. Eoin was not thrilled about the Duck tour. He complained the entire hour. The rest of us enjoyed the ride. We had to force a smile from him and this is what we got.

The next day we spent the better part of the morning in a timeshare presentation. Because they were offering a $50 dinner and a free night in the Wilderness resort. It was a good thing they had a kids playroom other wise the boys would have been so bored. What was supposed to be a 2 hour presentation turn into a 4 hour sale. The Lady was very convincing and we are very excited to be the owners of a Wyndam timeshare. It was a deal we could not refuse. We plan on doing a lot of vacationing. The next day we went miniature golfing. The weather was very hot, but we had fun. Liam shot a hole in one all on his own.




The rest of the trip we spent in the water park at the hotel. All of us loved this water park. Walt, Eoin and I went on all the big slides. Eoin's favorite was one you go down on your stomach. Liam's favorite was just his size and we could not get him off of it. Every night in the lobby they had a member of the staff read a story and the kids got their pictures taken with Wiley Wolf and Biko Bear. This was the first time I ever saw both of my boys sit for an entire story. We all had a wonderful time and can't wait until our next trip. Which will hopefully be the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando next year.
