Ready for spring

I am really ready for spring to get here. We just spent the last week in sunny Florida. Coming home was hard not because of having to come back to real life, but having to come back to the cold. Before I lost weight I was always warm. The cold never really bothered me. Now I really hate it. I am seriously considering moving to a warmer climate. So I decided to change my background to something springy. 16 day until the first day of spring. Let's hope the weather warms up immediately.

Put me in a straight jacket because I'm being slowly driven to madness

Today was the most frustrating day of my six years of mother hood.
I picked the boys up from school and I had to go to Costco to get milk and usually Liam is awful in the stores, he pulls things off the shelves and cries everytime I won't let him have something. Typical 3 year old behavior right?

We got into Costco and everything was going pretty smoothly, all three kids were really good. Which is very unusual for me. I should have known it wouldn't last. So we get to the frozen food section and Eoin sees these bagel pizza bites and asks me if I will buy them. I tell him "No Eoin I brought those before and you didn't like them". Eoin says "I like them now mom". Again I said no and he started doing his usual fighting with me. PLEASE MOMMY PLEASE PLEASE OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I got down to his level and nicely told him the reasons I'm not buying them. All of a sudden he starts crying really loud and he threw himself down in the middle of the isle and kicked and screamed. I wanted to crawl into a hole and die of embarassment you should have seen the seen the sceen he was making. Everyone was starring at me and I felt like the worst mother in the world because I lost it and just started screaming as loud as he was. I grounded him from tv and video games for 5 days. I am at a loss I don't know what to do. You can't spank, yell back etc . How do I remain calm when my child is screaming at me so loud everyone is stareing at me and whispering. I would love to learn a method of behavior control that actually works, I tried timeouts, taking favorite things away, and bribery.

I'm going to put the kids to bed now and seriously do some thinking and stragagising because obviously what i'm doing isn't working.

HEEEEELP MEEEE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
